Perfectionist’s Nightmare!

Day 2 of the Love Dare challenge is an active dare, so I spent the day in search of an opportunity to act on it.  There’s a schedule, after all…  Well, if you’re checking the dates, you’ll find that the Day 2 posting is falling on Day 16 (17 if you count that it’s now a bit past midnight).  It took 2 weeks of mulling and watching and being a bit stubborn about not asking for help (other than from God), but an opportunity presented itself today, and by golly I took it!!

I’d love to share the details, but there are reasons why that would be unwise…  let us just say that the person had an immediate need, and I was available to meet that need.  In the process, God and I had a lovely moment – He had answered my request for something to follow through on this plan.

Day 2, dare done!  We’re not ready to break out the harps, at least not for this situation, but there was suddenly, quietly, a way that I could accomplish the Day 2 objective, and I found that very satisfying.  If they each take 2 weeks, it could indeed spread the 40 day challenge across all the remaining months.  We’ll see…
