Jericho Walk, Day 2

Remember, this is a reenactment, of sorts, of the people of Israel walking around the walls of Jericho, after which God knocked the walls down – so we’re praying against some walls. So, off I went, and began my attack on the wall of discouragement – alone. Fitting.

Jericho Walk: Schedule

We meet at Shiloh Chapel.  You can come with us if you like, literally or figuratively.  We’re walking quietly, around our mini-city, praying over one wall at a time, looking forward to the shout after the 7 laps on day 7, just like Joshua at Jericho. Fri, 2:30 – Health Issues Sat, 2:30 – Discouragement, …

Jericho Walk, Day 1

We’ve got a God who breaks down walls. These walls are slowing down several workers ready to do some harvesting while the crops are still ripe. Maybe we should ask God to do something about these walls.

Hands Off

God has gone to great lengths to remind me that He’s got everything well in hand. In this instance, as in many that other people are facing, “ugly doesn’t necessarily mean out of control”.

Word of the day: Overcome

God wants us to move from being in whatever condition we’re in to the place of Overcoming. His grace is sufficient, and He will be the one to get us through rough situations and get the praise for our overcoming. Let the Peace of Christ Rule.
