12 Gems and a Pearl
In Exodus, God gives instructions for the priests’ garments & accessories. One in particular is the breastpiece with 12 stones in 4 rows to indicate the 12 tribes of Israel. In Revelation, a place named The Holy City, the New Jerusalem is described – this is the place where God dwells, among His people. The foundations of the walls were decorated with 12 stones. The two lists carry 10 identical items, in varying sequence – could there be a connection?

For those who cannot hear the music, let me assure you that this is played back at actual speed and he didn’t miss a note. As awesome as he was, it was his first two years that cause the thoughtful to say, “Ahhh…God did this”, and leaves the skeptic with no room for argument. With God, all things are possible.
