Many short but profound thoughts run the rabbit trails of my mind. It’s time to find a place to start writing them down. This would be that place.

(yes, all of the below statements are to be considered under copyright, unless someone can prove that they said it first, ’cause I just did)

We cannot meet God’s standard of perfection.
He did not sacrifice us, His beloved creation.
He did not sacrifice His righteousness.
Rather, He sacrificed Himself.

Don’t waste energy telling God what’s impossible.

It seems a harsh thing that the words Vigilant and Diligent should be synonyms and almost-homonyms…it rather forces one to be more diligent about saying the word vigilant.  (Go ahead, repeat that sentence out loud without slowing pace, I dare you!)

My memory bank is overdrawn.

My mental notes used to be carved in stone, now they’re on a…oh, what’s that 1970’s sand toy with the red frame and white knobs called??

No one can help you with tasks you don’t hand over.

We reserve the right and responsibility to decline any work we cannot do with integrity.

How sad to be the person who regards every conflicting idea as an active threat. How sad for us all if we avoid thought to avoid conflict.

Life lessons:  learning from them is far better than reliving them.

Please understand that I cannot be you – that’s what God made you for.

Not all confidence is arrogance; not all service is humility.

Where there are minds, there are concepts.
Where concepts and community, referents.
Where referents and society, language.

Only God can resolve that which originates within another person.

Eighteen minutes front pocket, eighteen years back pocket.

Lord, make me productive according to Your priorities.

Sin = Separate (remedy= draw near)
Insult (remedy= worship)
Neglect (remedy= abide)
